Terms and Conditions

Engine sales and support are handled by Aeromomentum, Inc. Parts, accessories, instruments, installation parts and firewall forward kits are sold and supported by Aeromomentum Parts, Inc.

To place and order for an engine there is a $1000 deposit. This will put you on our build schedule and the deposit is fully refundable until we inform you that your engine is being built. At this point the deposit is not refundable and we will request net payment in full and will test run and ship out your engine generally within 2 weeks of receiving payment in full.

The engine is preserved for 90 days if properly stored in a cool, clean and dry location. Returns of new engines in the original condition and with the original packing in 30 days are accepted and subject to a 30% restocking fee. There may be an additional teardown and inspection fee depending on our observation of the condition via borescope and other methods. Returns after 30 days are not accepted for any reason. If you do not intend to place your engine in service within 90 days, it is highly suggested that you get the optional long term (1 year) preservation to maintain the condition of your engine and the warrantee.

Engine shipping is via freight and is to a commercial address with fork truck or a freight terminal. Residential shipping with lift gate is extra and by request. Through gate shipping is also an extra charge even if the gate is always open. Sorry but this is a policy of the shipping company and we have no control over this.

Parts, accessories, instruments, installation parts and firewall forward kits are to be paid in full at the time of order. Most customers order them directly on our website but they can be ordered by phone or email. Some of these items are customer specific or semi-custom and may not be returnable or cancelable. On items that are returned there is a 30% restocking fee. Standard items that are canceled before shipment have no fee. Less common, made to order or semi-custom items like cowling and propellers not be returnable or cancelable or may be subject to a fee. Items that are modified, installed or used are not returnable. Shipping is not refundable.

At your request and/or for international shipments we will hold pre-ordered parts, accessories, instruments, installation parts and firewall forward kits for shipment with your engine. In most cases, stocked items for USA delivery will be sent when the order is received. This will allow you to start on your installation before your engine arrives.
